1/2 Day Dog Sledding Adventure
This package is for anyone who wishes to discover dog sledding and drive his/her own dog team! You drive your own dog team, following the guide. It is also possible to hop into the guide’s sled if your are not comfortable to drive yourself. Scenic 15km trail into the Yukon Wilderness.
Available from mid November to April, total tour time: 3.5 – 4.0hr starts at $295.00/person, includes transportation from/to the Resort, 5% GST not included.
Snowmobiling INTRODUCTION
Embrace the excitement of snowmobiling in the scenic backyard of Northern Lights Resort with our 1.5-hour daytime introduction. Set against the backdrop of breathtaking winter landscapes, this adventure offers the perfect opportunity to experience the thrill of snowmobiling in the great outdoors.
1.5hr $295.00/person, includes Guide, snowmobiles, helmets, introduction to safe handling of snowmobiles, and hot drinks on the trail., 5% GST not included.
Full Day Snowmobiling
On a full day tour we can take you further into Whitehorse’s beautiful backyard. After a short introduction into the basics of safe snowmobile riding and handling, we are off for the rest of the day. Trails leading over frozen lakes alternate with routes through dense spruce forests. During this tour we include a lunch break where we serve a hearty meal. There’s also plenty of hot drinks to keep you warm throughout the day.
Full day tour Time: 6.0 – 7.0hr $465.00/person, includes Guide, transfer from/to the Resort, snowmobiles, helmets, warm winter clothing, introduction to safe handling of snowmobiles, lunch break on the trail., 5% GST not included, rate is based on a minimum booking of 2 people and shared sled. Single Sled Supplement available on request.
Full Day Ice Fishing / Snowmobile Combo
Join us for a unique full day adventure, where your local guide will lead to you remote areas of the lake to test your luck at ice fishing. Your experienced and knowledgeable guide will set you up with a fishing license, helmets, and warm clothing, and provide a full introduction to the snowmobiles. Once everyone is comfortable on the machines you head out for the day, leaving civilized stresses behind. The beautiful mountain scenery surrounding the lake will captivate you as you cruise down the smooth ice on your snowmobile. You’ll reach our secret fishing spot where your guide will teach you how to drill a hole in the ice with an ice auger, and get a campfire going to ensure everyone is comfortable. The catch of the day might include Lake Trout or Arctic Grayling!
