Well being for body & soul, the cuisine at the Resort is both down‑to‑earth and cosmopolitan. We try to buy most of our food from local certified producers and we grow our own organic herbs and our Executive Chef Cameron carefully prepares delicious gourmet meals every day, using only the finest and freshest ingredients. His creations are a delight for every taste and dietary needs. Fresh, healthy and delicious!

Breakfast

We serve a light and healthy European style continental breakfast with fruits, yoghurts, cereals, jams, cheese and sausage variations, boiled eggs, fresh baked croissants and buns, juices, tea and our speciality coffee.

Lunch

If you would like to use our lunch service, please let us know latest in the morning and we will prepare some fresh sandwiches and a delicious soup for you. And you can also order a packed lunch to go for your daytime activities and tours.

Family Dining

Our evening dinners are part of the experience at Northern Lights Resort & SPA. All our guests enjoy their meals together – coming together at the family table by the cosy fireplace. Wonderful evenings with long talks are often the foundation of new friendships. If not already included in your package, you have the option to book a seasonally inspired 2 or 3 course dinner for your stay. Please note: Dinner arrangements need to be pre-booked at least 24 hours in the summer season. Please see our sample menus below:

Wine, Beer & Cocktails

Northern Lights Resort & SPA is licensed and we offer a small but fine selection of Canadian Wines and Beer from our local brewery. Or try one of Kate’s Liquor and Cocktail creations before dinner.

Pickled Beet Salad with Herb Mousse and Walnut Wafer

Pan seared Arctic Char with Sticky Rice Cake, sautéed Asian Greens and Ginger beurre blanc

Unbacked Mango Cheesecake

Cured Arctic Char with pickled garlic Sorbet, soy caramel and shaved carrot salad

Slow roasted Pork tenderloin with smoked potato pave, crispy brussels sprouts and fennel jus

Sticky Toffee pudding with vanilla bean ice cream

Tomato Coconut Soup with smoked cream
