Forest Bathing

Surrounded by 145 acres of boreal forest, a moment of quiet and solitude is just steps from your chalet where you can calm your mind and explore meandering trails of towering spruce, Yukon Black Pine, and poplar trees at your own pace. Emerging from Japan in the 1980s, forest bathing (“shinrin-yoku”) is a popular form of ecotherapy that recognizes the innate connection between nature and health.

Barefoot
Sensation Path

Take a self-guided 60-metre walk down our barefoot sensation path and reconnect with the Earth. Experience different sensations underfoot as you step through sand, rocks, logs, pinecones, soft grass, and mulch. Grounding (“earthing”) is a therapeutic practice that involves transferring earth’s grounding energy to your body for health benefits. Accessible to guests all summer, no reservations required.
