Heartfelt Hospitality & Genuine Warmth
Treat yourself to some time out in the beautiful Yukon and let yourself be pampered by our team at the Northern Lights Resort & Spa. Our team will always tend to your needs:
Executive Chef – Brendan Baxter – I have grown up in kitchens and have spent the last ten years working in Michelin kitchens around Europe before moving to Canada last year. I have a love for local, seasonal and organic produce which has a huge influence when planning our seasonal menu. There’s nothing I like more than providing a delicious meal while you enjoy the company of the other guests around our table. I look forward to welcoming you to our table.
Emily Hall – Food and Beverage Manager – Originally from England, I have spent my Summers and Winters welcoming and hosting guests all over Europe. From the snowy tundra in northern Finland to the tiny mountain villages of northern Italy. 5 years later and a move to Canada meant I could fulfil the dream of exploring the Yukon and what better way to do it then to be able to exchange stories with guests from all different backgrounds. Around the dining table, around the bar or simply strolling around, getting an insight into peoples adventures is what has kept me exploring.
Julia Senze – Aurora Viewing & Tour Guide – I am Julia, 27 years old and raised in the Northeastern part of Germany. During my Master studies in Sustainability Management in Tourism I loved spending my freetime outside, exploring the nature and beautiful countryside. Mountains and the outdoors have always been a big part of my life. The desire to explore Canada’s nature and wilderness finally drew me to Canada. In summer time I work in the Rockies. Now I am excited to meet you and share my fascination for Yukon’s incredible nature and its spectacular Northern Lights with great people.
Stephan Bardubitzki – Aurora Viewing & Tour Guide – is an experienced wilderness guide and adventurer, an avid hiker, skier, fisherman and hunter who loves to share his vast knowledge about the Yukon, First Nation culture and environmental sensitivity of the North with visitors from all around the world. He is also a certified personal trainer helping people of all age to improve their fitness, health, and quality of life.
