Low Energy Consumption

A 128-panel solar field was installed on our property which generates 55,000 kwH of energy per year. Since its installation in October 2022, up to 50% of the resort's energy consumption is solar-powered! Additionally, high-efficiency appliances, CFL and LED lights, and human manpower are used where possible to further reduce our energy consumption.

Water Conservation

We follow water-saving practices and educate guests on the importance of reducing water consumption. Guests are encouraged to take shorter showers, turn off the taps while using the sinks, and hang their towels to dry after each use to reduce wash cycles where possible. All wastewater is processed through our septic tank and sewage absorption bed, thus being cleaned and returned to the natural environment.

Supporting Local

We proudly grow our own organic herbs onsite and buy most of our food from the local farmers market, or direct from certified producers. We also support the local economy by partnering with local Yukon businesses and services for all our needs and supplies. From food purchases to vehicle repairs, our operations rely on our partnership with the local community.
